Set in Wood
Handcrafted balsa wood scenes from the set of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman

I built these miniature sets from balsa wood, each housed in a 6" x 12" x 6" shadow box. They were created on location at Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills, CA, during the filming of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (CBS), where I had the honor of interning on my favorite show.

Though the original western town was later lost to the Woolsey Fire, these models—and the memories behind them—remain a lasting tribute in my heart.

On Set, Off Script
A series of portraits of the case and crew

During my internship on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, the cast and crew welcomed me like family. Several generously posed for me during filming breaks, allowing me to sketch and interview them. These portraits are a small tribute to their warmth, creativity, and the kindness they shared on and off set. Looking back, it feels like sketching memories as they were being made.
